Amy was instrumental and the lead for the LINK Team at BD Liberator Medical Supply. I was fortunate to work with her on two projects. The first project was the LINK Taskforce where the group mapped and completed a project plan for 118 projects focused on reducing waste in the processes and with a strong focus on collaboration with the outside sales team. Many of the projects identified were improvements in synching our current systems so that the outside sales team could assist seamlessly the inside sales team with parameters to keep certain data pertaining to billing separate.

This project started with Amy’s prep in August / September of 2021 and culminated with a week Kaizen Event to focus on the waste in all processes. Amy led the team to identify great projects to put in place to make the information flow between teams and businesses transparently. The second project that Amy was lead on was a Kaizen Event focused on process improvement after our AR System integration that wasn’t going well. Amy focused her attention on details pertaining to the flow of information and how to create a better customer experience. Her focus on Key Process Indicators was instrumental in identifying through the process what was working and what process changes were not.

The 61 or 83 projects that have been completed so far have driven positive change with quicker turn around time on Order placed to product shipping, better compliance with billable orders and reduction in time order shipped to order billed. Her attention to details is superb and her ability to understand workflows and processes by mapping and asking questions is to be commended. I have enjoyed having Amy as my partner through process improvement!
